Photo metadata viewer

Drop a JPEG, PNG, WebP or HEIC to see what's hidden inside: camera, date, GPS location, dimensions. Parsed in your browser β€” the file never leaves your device.

That's the math. Now the work. Odoa deletes the junk biggest-first, groups duplicates, and holds everything in a Trash with undo β€” all on your iPhone.

Your photos know where you've been

Every iPhone shot embeds EXIF: camera model, timestamp, exposure β€” and unless you disabled it (Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > Camera > Never), precise GPS coordinates. iMessage strips location on send; email attachments, AirDrop originals and many social uploads don't. That's why a "what's for sale" photo can reveal a home address.

Sharing safely

Per-share: in the Photos share sheet, tap Options and toggle Location off. Permanent: re-encode β€” our compressor outputs pixels only, metadata stripped. Keep originals backed up first (backup guide).

Frequently asked questions

What metadata do iPhone photos contain?
Camera, date, GPS, exposure and more, embedded as EXIF. It travels with the file unless stripped.
Can people see my location from a photo?
Often yes. Check here before sharing sensitive shots β€” email and many apps keep GPS EXIF.
How do I remove it?
Toggle Location off per share, or re-encode a copy for a permanently clean file.

Metadata is honest. Your camera roll isn't.

Odoa sorts the real clutter β€” duplicates, bursts, giant videos β€” all on your iPhone, with Trash + undo.
